We have a roster of great employees. Each one is special and contributes to our continued success. An Employee of the Month is chosen by senior staff based on outstanding customer service or exemplary work quality. This employee is recognized for demonstrating qualities such as improvement in production, attendance, or just by going out of their way to help someone else. One of these 12 is elected Employee of the Year and is honored at the Goodwill Industries of Lorain County Annual Meeting and Open House.

After just 3 short months of working under Goodwill of Lorain County, Amanda was promoted to Store Manager of the Lorain Retail Store. Within one year, under her outstanding leadership, the Lorain store flourished with record breaking numbers. Amanda has demonstrated professional dedication, leadership and a fresh perspective to her job. She is always looking for new and innovative ideas to maximize sales, donations and customer awareness while minimizing expenses.
